Always Trade
Up: Don't take
anything of less value for a trade. If you do want to trade a video game
for another video game -- make sure you get 2 games for your one. Always
try to at least double the value of what you are carrying.
Here are a
few quality starting items:
- Disney Collectables
This is good because
everyone has a favorite character and they are always in the market to
collect just one more. Try to stay with the high end pieces.
- Error Dollar Bills
You can pick these up
on eBay and they have a great novalty value. People are willing to
trade something of a lot of value just to have one of these rare pieces.
- Hot Marketable Items
Trade ipods, xbox 360 consoles, laptops, and even TVs. People are
sometimes willing to trade a CAR for an xbox 360 because they don't need
the car anymore and really want a console.

| Try to Cross
up Markets: If you trade a XBOX -- try to get something that is not game
related. You need to jump from market to market in order to increase the
value of what your trading. Try to go from an XBOX to a car, a car to a
high end collectable, then from a collectable to a antique. Once you
start into the high priced items you will need to shift to trading almost
purely antiques and collectables as they are the only thing with high value
that are small enough to ship. |
Watch
Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping an item can be costly so watch what you
trade for and if you plan on trading online then try to start with a small high
end item that does not cost a lot to ship but has a big trade value -- and
always receive what you are trading for before shipping them the item.
Careful with
Hidden Costs:
Remember, if you trade for a house then the deed must be changed into your
name. Same thing with a car or other high end product. Be careful
not to cost yourself too much money in fees and what not. |

Whenever you can, deal
locally with people you can meet in person.
Have fun and exciting items
to trade!
